Believe it or not, you can still enjoy an old fashioned 4th of July in the Los Angeles community of Eagle Rock. Once again Eagle Rock will be celebrating the nations’ Independence Day in a big way with fun and entertainment for all ages. The party is on Sunday, July 3 not on the actual 4th of July.
The second annual 2nd Annual Eagle Rock 4th of July Concert in the Park & Fireworks Show is jointly sponsored by Councilman Jose Huizar, the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce and Eagle Rock Recreation Center. Not only are they celebrating Independence Day, they are also celebrating Eagle Rock’s Centennial.
Like last year’s Eagle Rock 4th of July Celebration, there will be face painting, musical entertainment, moon bounce and face painting for the kids along with community booths and vendors. The 4th of July falls on Monday, but this event takes place on Sunday, July 3 so make sure you don't miss it! The festivities take place at Eagle Rock Park, 1100 Eagle Vista Drive beginning at 4pm and finishing with a fireworks show scheduled for 8:30.
